Temecula Wedding at Avensole Winery | Tina & Bryan
Temecula Wedding at Avensole Winery
I absolutely loved Tina and Bryan’s wedding at the Avensole Winery in Temecula! These are two of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet and their wedding was so romantic and lovely. It was basically the first wedding that kicked off my 2021 wedding season madness, and it was one of my first weddings that felt the most ‘normal’ since Covid started, and it was such a fun way to start this season. TINA AND BRYAN, I ADORE YOU AND LOVE YOU FORVER AND EVER!
Q: What did you love about your wedding venue?!
A: Avensole Winery has the most gorgeous vineyard views, delicious food & wine and has a classic elegance to it. During Spring, the flowers and vines are in full bloom - it’s seriously stunning! We toured 3 venues in Temecula that day and as soon as we visited Avensole, we knew it was the one. It is also made for such a seamless evening to have the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception in one location.
Q: Do you have a favorite memory from the day?
A: So many come to mind but the first look has to be our favorite. There is so much anticipation leading up to the ceremony and while the first look had us both in tears, it put us at ease during the ceremony. I’ll never forget the way Bryan looked at me :’)
A close second is when everyone formed in a conga line and danced around the whole venue…. yes , a 60 person conga line. It was awesome.
Q: Tell me a bit about planning a wedding during a pandemic (if you want!). How did it affect your plans, how did it change your plans (if it did at all), etc etc etc.
A: Planning a wedding during the pandemic was definitely challenging and an emotional roller coaster. Early on, we made the decision to stick to our wedding date and were prepared to go on with 10 people or 100. Both being in agreement with this plan definitely helped keep the excitement and planning going.
Q: What advice would you give to future couples who are getting married? During a pandemic or in general?
Do what makes YOU happy. This is the only time that you will have all of your people together in one place, savor it and soak it all up. Also, book the extra hour if it’s an option. It was SO worth it because the day just flies by. Lastly, come wedding day, realize that no one knows the fine details of your wedding like you do and they will likely not notice things that didn’t turn out as you “planned” so just go with the flow!
Q: How did you two stay positive / keep what’s important in mind through all the planning craziness of 2020-2021?
A: Wine. A lot of wine. Ha! While the wine did help, you just have to remind yourself that at the end of the day, you’re planning your special day with your person and all of your favorite people [hopefully] so it’s going to be the best, no matter what that looks like.
Q: Is there anything else you'd like people to know about your experience?!
A: Despite the challenges, stress and uncertainty with the planning, we wouldn’t have changed a single thing about our experience. We were so fortunate that the timing of the vaccine came well prior to May 21 so it ended up being one of the first events back “out” for us and our guests and the anticipation for our wedding and seeing everyone in person was unforgetful! There was truly a “buzz” in the air!
Q: Did you have a favorite part of wedding planning?
A: We loved planning the parts of the wedding that were unique to us and enjoyed envisioning how our guests would react! From the rehearsal dinner, all details of the wedding day and weekend hotel accommodations/activities - it was all so different and so fun! Bryan and I found out a lot about each other through the process and realized that while we didn’t immediately know what we wanted in a wedding, the process of figuring out what we did want was the most special!
