Sun Mountain Lodge Wedding

I feel a lot of feelings when I look at images Jon and Chris’s wedding day at the Sun Mountain Lodge in Winthrop, WA. One of those days I could barely keep tears off my face. Jon said it best as he was starting his thank-you speech, holding back tears he said “this day truly is a dream come true, because for most of my life I thought this wouldn’t be possible for me.” That basically sums up how the whole day felt. Starting with them getting ready together just the two of them, their incredibly emotional ceremony and personal vows, them walking down the aisle to Schitt’s Creek version of ‘The Best’ (if ya know, ya know)… basically everyone could barely keep their sh*t together watching these two promise forever together. I’ve known these two for a long time - Jon officiated a wedding I photographed back in 2016, and shortly after he brought me into his plan to propose to Chris at Treehouse Point, and it’s been such a gift to walk alongside them the last few years. This day was the perfect example of why I love my job so much and it was one of those days that will forever be a highlight for me.
