Read MoreTim and Val's story began in middle school - the kind of on-again-off-again love where they always ended up coming back to each other. They were planning their big fairytale wedding for later this year when they found out they were pregnant. They moved their wedding up so they'd be married before the baby came, planned a wedding in less than 2 months, and it was the most special and intimate day I've ever been apart of. A wedding on the beach with their closest family and friends followed by a brewery party where they did their GENDER REVEAL. The most incredible day full of celebration for their marriage and their baby girl on the way. Tim and Val - I am so excited for you and your growing family!!!!! It was such an honor to photograph such a special day. STILL CRYING OVER THESE!

It was so hard to hold back with this one; this is some of my favorite work of my career and there's so much variety within this one location. I had the pleasure of shooting their gorgeous PNW backyard wedding last September, and I was so stoked when she asked me to shoot an anniversary session for them. We've had this session in the works for *months* and it did not disappoint. I am always so excited to go on an adventure with my couples and shoot in a new place. Spend the day together. In this case, catch up and hear all about their first year of marriage!

Read MoreI can't think of a better way to spend your anniversary: dressing up like it's your wedding day again and renewing your vows in front of your closest family in your church. They did the whole huge wedding thing a few years ago and wanted something more intimate to represent and include their faith that is a huge part of their relationship. Kelly took her original wedding dress from two years ago (awwwww) and altered it to fit the new occasion. I am obsessed with her whole bridal look created by Ceann Cherry; the vintage waves, the dark vampy lips... she looked AMAZING and it was so inspiring as a photographer to capture her elegance.
