Hilary&Jamin | San Fransisco Engagement Session

Hilary and Jamin invited me to join them in San Fransisco for their engagement session. As fellow WA--->CA transplants, it meant so much to me to be able to photograph them in their new city they get to call home. We spent the WHOLE day adventuring around together sightseeing, eating, shooting and hanging out. I love the images that resulted from spending the entire day together and I seriously cherish time like this with my couples before the wedding day.

TIFFANY&AARON | PREVIEWS.

Aaron + Tiffany / Joshua Tree, California.

I've known for a long time that this was going to be my favorite wedding and it didn't disappoint. Not only are these two friends of mine crazy stylish and gorgeous, but Tiffany is an insanely talented weaver (she made the ceremony backdrop herself) and space/installation designer. I don't even know what you would call that, but everything you see here she did herself. From the hand lettering of all the signs, designing/drawing of the invitations, creating the big hexagon shapes from scratch.. I know I'm not saying any of this right but she is so talented. I have some of her wall weavings in my office and you can find her work on her website  or Instagram.

You may recognize these two because I had the honor of photographing their proposal in Joshua Tree last February (and it was also featured on Love Inc. Mag!).

Shooting this wedding was like photographing the most epic styled shoot of all time, except it was real life, AND I got to hang out with my best friends all weekend. IT WAS THE BEST.I'll be blogging more about this wedding later, there's SO MUCH to share, but in the meantime, here's a lil preview of my fav day ever.

Josh&Ashley | Joshua Tree Engagement Session

Josh+Ashley in Joshua Tree, California. Fellow Washington to California transplants. Bride is a photographer, groom is a musician, so basically they are the couple doppelganger of me and my husband. I had SO much fun adventuring around Joshua Tree with these two - a stark contrast to their veryyyyyyy Pacific Northwest wedding I'm shooting this weekend. :) I can't wait!

Matt & Paige | Maui Session

In July, I had the honor of officiating some of our closest friends wedding in Maui. The last time I was in Hawaii I was getting married - so it felt right to be back there to marry friends of ours. Hawaii is such a magical place. I couldn't leave without getting a couples session in of my own (because helloooooooooo I can't pass up the opportunity to photograph a beautiful couple in paradise). Matt and Paige are friends of ours (Matt is the grooms brother of the wedding we were attending) and Paige has become a great friend of mine over the last year. They got married in Maui LAST year, so it was extremely special to photograph them together just shy of their one-year anniversary in the place they got married.

My husband and I location scouted ALL over the island and I found this place. I knew this was "it" as we were walking through and I couldn't wait to bring these two here. YAY! I love how these turned out and I am so thrilled to finally be sharing them.

Enjoy. Mahalo!

#RAYSYOURGLASS /// Cody+Jordan previews

Cody+Jordan. 06.24.17 /// I will 100% be blogging this full wedding later but I am too excited not to share a few now. Washington experienced a little heat wave last weekend and it was HOT - a 98 degree day in Chehalis during this wedding. My most organized brides are always either teachers or photographers and this one happens to be BOTH, so naturally this wedding was perfect. It's always nerve-wracking shooting weddings for other photographers, but Jordan and Cody planned the dream wedding that couldn't be more fun to photograph. I swear their entire town was there celebrating them and it was such a party. This was a special one and I can't wait to share more.

MR. AND MRS. RAY Y'ALL!
